I agree with above - don't do anything. The price was low, with care the plant should do fine, you got something else for free. If this nursery had a reputation for ripping people off - then I would complain, but from what I've read about them, they don't. I tend to be very loyal to companies and businesses I like and ones that have treated me well in the past. If every once in a while something I purchase from them isn't quite what I had hoped it to be, I'm willing to cut them some slack. If I truly believe they did their best, I can deal with that. I want them to stick around. If bad products or services becomes the norm - well - that's a different story. I'll dump them without a second thought. They have nice stuff. I ordered from them in early spring, a small order, and received nice healthy plants, well packed for shipping. I have another small order pending which should arrive tomorrow. Karen

Trail, you have a wonderful collection there and I can't wait to see photos of it all planted! (hint hint, yes I love photos! LOL) I didn't take the other thread on local purchases as a negative response at all - there was a thread about online purchases from Bluestone, where others oo'd and aah'd and shared their lists, so the "local" thread was started (I believe) as just another point of discussion. I did chime in about the importance of buying local, but certainly there are times when it's not possible or even preferable. As I said in that other thread, I'm lucky to have a local option. And I'll add here, the online selection is much larger. I'm glad to have your Santa Rose and Brushwood recommendations to take note of - and again, can't wait to see all your goodies in the ground and flourishing! Hello everyone...I'm new and just wanted to say hello and thanks for posting the link to Santa Rosa Gardens sale. I placed an order today. I want to incorporate lots of new grasses in my gardens next spring. I had purple fountain grass last year but it didn't come back. I bought it again this year too! Oh well, maybe I can save some of the seed. Or does it re-seed? Anyone know? Looks alike a great place here! ~Betty
