Correcting tractor wheel alignment

I have a Craftsman DYT4000 in which the steering wheel now needs to be kept turned to the right a half turn in order to drive straight.

It is possible I hit a tree root at a very low speed to cause this problem but I cannot see anything bent. When the steering wheel is in the straight position, the "rack and pinion" so to speak, is centered, so I did not "skip" a tooth or two.

Anyone else experience this problem?
