chimera in the making

I have an african violet named Maine that has changed. The last time it bloomed all the flowers were normal except for one stem that looked like a chimera. This bloom cycle the whole plant is now striped like a chimera. Will have to try a leaf to see if it reverts back to the old Maine plant or not. So if this is one of the normal ways for them to sport you will want to hold any that look striped to see what they do the next time they blossom. I just love these surprises.... Janice
