yellowish willow oak leaves

There are some large willow oaks (Quercus phellos) lining the street that I live on. They have foliage ranging from medium green to an almost yellow-green...which might suggest chlorosis, however, there is a Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra or borealis, depending who you ask) at the end of the tree row, maybe 30 feet from the last, and yellowest, Willow Oak, and it is as deep green as you could ever hope for. Is this just a natural trait of Willow Oaks to be a more light-green color than other oaks?
