Jewel, how sweet thou scent?
Comments (6)Jewel has really grown on me within the past two years, and I find myself very intrigued when its scent is mentioned. The very lovely white tone, plus its brick colored center and less doubled form, have me wanting to try one very badly! As of now, it sits directly at the pinnacle of my list! It will be the first bulb I order next year! Larry and I both are quitting smoking this year, and we'll be using Chantix. We would have started already, but without complete commitment we're bound to fail. This is one addiction that requires more than 100% commitment... we need each others support! Several friends that we know have successfully quit using Chantix. We've done extensive research and have decided that this is probably the only chance we've got. Most other methods have failed. I'm very proud of Cindee and Dennis for sticking with their smoke-free status! It's one of the most difficult addictions to kick. And I'm very happy for you, too, Salpal. You and your boyfriend have accomplished something wonderful! My doctor tells me smoking is right up there with heroin addiction... the two hardest addictions to win over. Following the accident we were in several years ago, I was in the hospital... I was given nicotine patches, and I did quite well... I probably could have quit, but like an idiot, the first thing I did upon release was light up a cigarette! I consider this one of the dumbest things I've ever done! I had a good chance, and I blew it. There's always hope, though... and I'm confident I can quit. I just need to be 100% ready and committed to the process. My time as a smoker is growing very short! Tomorrow is always a whole new day!...See MoreHow sweet is Ball's Red Hot Sauce?

Comments (22)Stacie, your new thread re stopping all your medications has disappeared. I'm not sure whether you saw my response but I'm concerned about you. It isn't smart to stop taking your meds. You really need to talk to your doctor and not take advice from your family. You mentioned before that you are on antidepressants, Prozac and Xanax. I looked up both of these drugs and not only are you not supposed to stop taking them, but there are warnings concerning using them while breast feeding. I'm really worried about you. Please take care of yourself. Ann...See Morehow sweet.............
Comments (43)bulldinkie, you hang in there! We're all pulling for you. I assume you've been checked for anemia...? Is it possible that your episodes could be brought on by the stress and depression of undergoing treatment? Would taking an anti-depressant such as Elavil help? When I fell down a flight of stairs and became disabled, over the last 8 years I've undergone many surgeries and dealt with chronic pain--which in turn caused stress, insomnia, heart palpitations and anxiety. Elavil has REALLY helped me with it. So maybe something similar is happening with you, a secondary issue brought on by the stress of dialysis...? Whatever the cause, hang in there, be strong, and know that many, many people are thinking of you. Velvet ~:>...See Moresam_md
