Comments (4)IF you don't have an Owners manual, the link below has a near identical tractor. Identical transmission and electrical schematic. Engine TYPE# is slightly different, but not sure what the difference is there. Can't help otherwise- Here is a link that might be useful: Link...See MoreCraftsman LT 2000 won't run
Comments (2)Bill, thanks for the one and only reply. Just to let you know, I didn't check the ignition switch as you offered, but I was confident that was the problem so I went ahead and ordered a new one for $12 + shipping. It fired right up and runs like new after all the other work I did on it! I also had to replace the mower clutch cable so I sharpened the blades while the deck was off. Also, anyone who is having trouble with the carb. solenoid: you don't need it. Just cut off the plunger and disconnect the electrical connection. Install a fuel-shut-off valve in the fuel line and just remember to turn it off after each use. The engine will shut down just fine without the solenoid and there won't be any "dieseling". Happy mowing!...See MoreCraftsman won't move
Comments (5)Have you looked in your owner's manual (if you have it)? or tried to use the "model number" you furnished to find the owner's manual online"? I tried the number you posted and find it to be "erroneous". Check your model number again....See Moreplease help..problems with a Craftsman Lt2000
Comments (3)try chking your manual for a electrical schematic. find the wire that carries voltage when key is turned to start and chk for 12v present while doing so. trace that wire all the way to solenoid to verify 12v is getting thru. if 12v then all the way to solenoid, then bad solenoid. OTW, could be ign sw itself, cl/brake sw, etc........See Moretomplum
