The hawk in Menifee, CA can only be a Cooper's Hawk but it is an oddly-colored one. Something going on with the feathers, such as a heavy molt or missing feathers for some other reason. If you have other photos please post.

Unless it's pairs - things usually look best displayed in odd numbers--it gives them more interest. Since it looks like you have a more trad room - For part of your collection I would suggest putting them on wall brackets to display. On the table, I wouldn't use more than 3 and put at least two on some kind of higher riser, be it a few hardcover books, a marble/plexi riser, small pedestal cake plate, candleholer--I've even used old brass lamp bases too. Tallest in back, lowest in front. For the lowest one - maybe put that on a mirror, small tray, plate that coordinates with color of figurine. Also, there's a product called Museum Wax, you take a bead or several and "glue" the object to whatever it's sitting on to give them a little more protection from GS. I enjoy looking at them all every day. But do you see them? All of them? I know that, unless I make a special effort to notice, a lot of my display is put in the background of my mind. I would think that a plethora of photos would effectively disappear from view. The brain can only take in so much information at any one time, and things that don't change are easily ignored so other, more lively information can come in. I would think that an electronic frame where the pictures change, or even a plastic sleeve with a frame on the fridge where you can change the picture(s) as you wish, would actually grab more of your attention and you'd see and appreciate them more. It would be fun to see if you sat down, back to the fridge, and you started listing all the pics that are on there, how many you'd be able to name.... I have a dozen pictures framed and hung on display over my woodstove. While I'm pretty sure I might be able to name most of them, I'm sure I'd never get the order right, even though I see them every day, hours at a time, but I don't often look....

May I ask what are those 2 'sticks' visible in second photo (just to the left&behind the blue pot): first I thought they are ropes of the swing - but do not see a swing?
