Craftsman Garden Tractor won't Start

sbridge

Model# 917.255919, 18hp twin, 6 speed, 44" It started and ran fine then suddenly would not start. The battery is fully charged. The fuse and fuse terminals look good and I used a wire to jump the fuse terminals to make sure the fuse isn't bad. I replaced the key switch as it was very worn, the wiring connections are correct. I jumped the two large solenoid terminals with a wire and it started right up and ran well. I ran a jumper wire from 12v to the small terminal on the solenoid both with key on and key off and nothing happens. I jumped the terminals on the clutch/brake interlock switch but it still will not start. I did the same on the seat switch but will not start. I wiggled wiring terminals, sprayed wd40 on them and checked for clean good contact. The wiring appears to be ok. Iam not sure what else to check, if wiring I am not sure which wires to check for conductivity? Any further suggestions?
