OK, did you route it like it was before you changed the belt. usually on the deck or up under the tractor there is diagram that shows the proper routing... If you are sure you routed it correctly then maybe the belt too big. Usually if not paying attention routing the belt around the idler pulley (with the spring attached) get screwed up. when looking at the belt the v should be in the pulley grooves and the idler pulley usually FLAT and the back of the belt run around so the Flat part of the belt on the flat pulley. The spring pulls the belt tight and when you push the brake peddle it loosen the belt thus stopping the motion of the tractor by detaching the engine from the rear transaxle.. If the tractor was moving before you worked on it I think if you study it you will find out the problem???

I bought a troy built pony in 2015 15.5 hp, when blades were engaged the mower vibrated a lot. I eventually found out that this model shakes, vibrates when blades were engaged, as I went back to store and started a brand new mower, same as mine, they engaged the blades and the mower shook, vibrated like mine. I found a simple solution to the problem that works for me. Instead of pushing the blades engaging lever the whole way forward I push it just to where blades are just engaged and put a 14 by 1.5 by 3/8 piece of wood between the seat spring and the deck cutting heighth lever to hold the blade engaging lever. believe it or not the mower does not shake or vibrate. belts are not hot after I am done cutting my grass

IâÂÂll hope itâÂÂs a simple cable matter since we had to rem the cable to weld. The initial problem was the 6âÂÂ- 4â loaned noticed the handles were not positioned as they were. The Bottom Line is my 45 yr Mechanical Friend Is Too Busy! to take his time even with all his equipment. The 45 yr Non Mechanical Friend will not look for or know a simple needed adjustment or etc.. In my case, we have enjoyed knowing/helping each other in many Fun Matters and Etc and hope this will not be a true issue. Unless we find something solid as damaged or needed adjustments, I feel our good visits, fishing and projects might be in the past. I guess we are off to the Garden soon to see the complaint and hopefully a good solution (when my arm is twisted by both vs talk). More Zip-Ties vs one, a restricted twisted cable, un-painted weld is all I can visualize (that were to be taken care of after the weld), if there is no mechanical damage. Satisfying Friends âÂÂFreeâ Can Be A Challenge!

Does it seem like the engine is being shut off? Typically the seat switch can cause this condition or the no mow in reverse wire is shorting to ground. A stuck blade/ blade spindle or a deck belt that has rusted to the pulleys will physically stop an engine as well. A full model # from under the seat could help should you report your findings.
