Composting Diseased Material 'Good or Bad'

I just started my first compost pile and now I have some concerns. I used shredded oak leaf, used coffee grounds and some "st.augustine grass and stems where brown patch had been." The area of infected sod was treated with corn meal which stopped the brown patch, but the sod didn't grow very well after it was infected. I did green up some but still had some yellow in it. I tore out the area that was infected and put it into my compost pile. I would say about 1/4 of the compost pile is the post brown patch sod.

My plan was to brew aerated compost tea and spray it on the lawn.

Do you think this will infect my compost or spread more of the brown patch disease on my lawn?
