The only thing i have found is daffodils....
BUT a liberall sprinkling of blood meal will keep the beasties away....but you have to re apply after a rain or watering...but eventually they will associate your gardens with "scary stuff"...until the next generation comes along.
And as a bonus, blood meal is a good organic very mild fertilizer.
I have seen a rabbit eat a 3 foot long rose cane....thorns leaves and all....just suck it down like spaghetti!
Also...owls are good....I sometines go out at night and hoot hoping to attract them!

Ugh, I have the same problem...the rabbits are everywhere and eat everything! It's incredibly frustrating!

One of the few perennials that they avoid is Nepeta 'Walkers Low' - catmint. I use this perennial everywhere because it's beautiful, low-maintenance and rabbit resistant! It blooms all summer too...it's worth it's weight in gold around my home!

Maybe you should let your dog back into the garden! Our little dog has turned into a demon rabbit hunter. We never used to have a rabbit problem because there was a den of foxes not too far away. In 2004 the foxes died out after they all got mange. The next year the rabbits bred like...rabbits and were all over the place. In 2006 and 2007, we had nests in the garden - and Misty developed a taste for baby bunny... There were no nests, or rabbit damage, in the garden this spring....

I use something called "Deer Solution" that makes my plants smell like cinnamon. Keeps rabbits and deer away for the most part.

I also find that they don't eat herbs - so lavender, sage, catmint, monarda and a host of other plants never get nibbled.

Not sure if I should try blood meal or Deer Solution. Does the blood meal smell awful to humans? Where do you buy the Deer Solution?

If your dog is like ours, blood meal will attract the dog....

I found Deer Solution at my nursery. The woman there said she used to have a herd of deer noshing away every night, but once she started using it, they stopped nibbling.

I haven't had any damage to my Centaurea montana or Scabiosa this year and those are bunny favorites in my garden.

We seem to have threads on this topic every year, and a search will bring up several for you. Below, I've linked to one I remembered from last fall, where I'd itemized which plants in my own garden are rabbit-resistant.

I'd like to say that I'm 100% cage-free, because I hate the look of wire cages around my plants, but I love lilies too much... and so do the rabbits. However, each year I try to swap out a couple more plants to minimize the "salad bar" effect that my garden has on bunnies.

Some children let a few large domestic-type rabbits go in the back yards behind our Brooklyn rowhouses -- they, or rather one that took up residence in our yard, ate most everything green that was in my garden. Rabbits don't like daffodil leaves, it's true. This bunny ate the daffodil flowers, instead. She also dug a network of substantial tunnels under the ground.

Eventually my husband and I adopted the bunny and kept it for six years. Poor bunny, whom we christened Amy, eventually became rather tame and allowed us to pet her. She died this spring rather unexpectedly. Except for a propensity to chew the electric wires, she was an ideal pet. I miss her pleasant companionship here in the computer room -- and also all wonderful the free fertilizer with which she used to supply us.
