Do Ann and Mike G work on Sunday?

I was out surfing the web when I discovered that they were fixing to build a freeway right through my ancestral home. I have never been there. I couldn't tell if they got that stopped. The dates were a year ago.

The place is called Stab, Kentucky in the Sinking Valley in Kentucky. The cave enthusiasts were attempting to stop them.

I think the little picture in the right hand corner of this website is Short Creek, where my ancestors had a water wheel for grinding the wheat.

I was wondering if you could find out anything. Always meant to go there.

They married their cousins. Even my grandfather married his cousin. This is a place that time forgot. My grandmother said,

"Well. When you go up on the mountain, you want to hold real still, so they can get a good look at you."

Here is a link that might be useful: Sinking Valley
