Help-Trans and Hydraulic oil level GX345

Hi,

I have managed to drain the old hydro and trans oil, replace the trans and hydraulic filters, and, put oil in both the trans and the reservoir. Here's the kicker: instructions call for aprox. 2.5 quarts in each. Did the trans, then the reservoir. The reservoir filled slowly, kind of gurgling down. I kept adding, and I was only at about 2 quarts in the reservoir, when it stopped going down, with the reservoir up to the lid, way beyond the "full" mark. It still had a little room in the reservoir, so I ran the tractor back and forth a bunch of times, like the instructions said. I also raised and lowered the hydraulics a few times. The level when down, but not a whole lot.

Do I need to worry about this? Is there air somewhere? Should I use a turkey baster to remove some of the oil? I really do not want to remove one of the plugs, unless I have to.

Thanks!
