Pink Mist and Butterfly Blue Scabiosa plants

I purchased two scabiosa plants 4 years ago. One is a Pink mist and the other is supposed to be a Butterfly Blue. I have some questions about these plants. First why does the blue one look pink? It is a different shade of pink then the Pink mist, but it is definitely not blue or purplish colored like it's supposed to be. Second why are they only growing about 6 inches tall and flopping over. They are planted in a sunny area, and supposed to be relatively care free according to what I have be able to find online, anyone know how to help them? The plants appear healthy otherwise, but for the past 3 years now they have been small, floppy and the blue one is way off color. (They are planted near each other, would that affect the color??) Should I be using a special fertilizer or something? They are just now starting to show signs of life this year, so If I need to move them should I do it now or wait until fall? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
