Aster yellow found in seeds?

Howdy!

As many of you already know I pulled all my coneflowers out last year due to Aster Yellow. I did not know what it was when it first appeared in one or two plants and by the end of the season they all had it at different degrees.

I just bought some new double deckers and went to plant it in the same spot. There are some seedlings coming up from the ground.

Does anyone know for sure if Aster Yellow will be found in seeds from infected plants? Should I yank them as fast as I can or should I leave them?

I know that this is probably not a question that many can answer. I plan on buying even more coneflowers and if there is no POSSIBLE danger I'll let these grow too. If there is a danger it would be foolish to leave them.

Thanks!

Ken
