I have bought from 4 ebay sellers including philinshelton, bamboobuddy , booo4U and they all promised to me they will be shipping my boo with the soil or at least some soil included. Philinshelton was the only one that came through as promised with no BS. He started shipping with 6x6" boxes to ship the entire one gallon of soil instead of the way it was done before where it was wrapped in a ball of wet newspaper. His plants are priced better than other sellers and very strong. what else is there.oh ya they came two days after I paid him.

I went to the nursery today and the woman attendant led me through a maze of plants in the greenhouse and finally stopped at the one brug plant which apparently was left like an orphan to fend off the winter alone. I was still on a brug high from my conversations in this forum and was speaking about them in hushed, breathless tones of awe. The attendent seemed perplexed at all the fuss. I asked when they were planning to get more in and she said it was not really on their plant list, but they sometimes took them when growers had them available. She said they weren't big money makers for growers. I must have gasped because she raised her eyebrows and began backing away. I'm guessing she thought I was one of those folks who claimed to see the image of Mother Mary in a leaf or cracker....as my reverence for this mere 'plant' seemed vastly disproportionate to her own borderline disinterest. The only way to get rid of it is to do a partial drain and refill. This is the classic known problem with inline chlorinators, at some point you WILL have to drain and refill if you use one. It may be once a season or it may be every three years, it depends on how much splashout and rain you get. Trichlor pucks try to give your pool everything it needs including CYA, so even when your pool reaches max CYA levels the pucks just keep feeding more and more in. Once the level reaches 100 chlorine becomes ineffective. If you go over to TroubleFreePools.com you will read many stories of people who have a sudden algae invasion that they can't get rid of no matter how much shock they dump in. They are always told to get full tests run and post the results, and usually it's a high CYA level that's the culprit. If someone made pucks with no CYA, the problem would be solved! I don't understand why they don't, but maybe it's because the CYA is also needed to bind the puck together or something. Ours has never been shocked. We check TC/ PH/ TA every 2 to 3 days and conduct a full range of tests one a week. There are many people over on TFP that are using BBB and have never shocked. There's a misconception that chlorine versus SWG is "either/ or". If you have an SWG you still have chlorine in your pool. The SWG generates chlorine using the salt that's been added. Great price for all of that! I would probably use the Pentair Clean & Clear Plus Cartridge 520 filter for that size pool and I would also go with the Pentair Legend PLATINUM pool cleaner to get the 3 yrs warranty on it as well. reducing the size of the tanning ledge won't get you much of a price break. I would be sure you get a good sealant designed for salt water pools for your flagstone to avoid erosion. All in all, you are getting a lot of pool for the price!
