This might be the dumbest greenhouse question ever...

Hi everyone! I am a beginner gardener, and I have been researching the idea of expanding my garden. It didn't take long for my simple herb container garden to transform into having berry bushes, tons of vegetables, an my original herbs. I'm also absolutely dying to have a citrus tree of some kind

Here's the dumb question: Does everything in greenhouses have to be grown in containers? I already have containers and everything to seem stop producing because the containers heat the soul more than I think if they were in ground, and my vegetables can only get so big. In Texas these heat waves are just murder, even my peppers are having a fit!

Are there greenhouses that allow you to grow in ground? Is that efficient, or should I explore a greenhouse that has shelving in it, and I use more containers?

Thanks so much!
