That is exactly it, tyrlych! Since it is labled as being poisonous I don't think I want it around. Too bad cause it is a nice looking plant. My chickens are using it for shade and I'm not sure it is a good idea. :) Have you or your parents had any problems with this plant being around? It says if you touch the leaves it will cause dermatitis. And it causes abnormal redness. Thanks for the information.

Lisianthus, Eustoma grandiflorum.

Do not plant out. Leave in pot, do not change soil. This plant produces it's own bacteria. Leave in part shade at least 70%, keep it watered but not too much. Does not to be too dry or too wet. Can collect the seed and raise. The only feeding it gets is a squirt of kelp and powerfeed mixed together. Hope this is of some help. There is also a black and a green one. Ian
