fragrant antique rose for bouquets for Florida

I usually enjoy roses on the plant instead of cutting them for the house, but they seem to wilt so fast in the Florida heat (southwest Florida). I guess mine get more sun than they like. Plus it's been in the upper 80s, low 90s here this week and the blooms are wilted by 10 a.m. (I hear the weather has been unusually hot for this time of year.) I have Pat Austin (I know, not an antique), Crepuscule, Mrs. B.R. Cant, Louis Philippe, Carnation, SDLM, Duchess de Brabant and Mrs. Dudley Cross. All are fairly young with thin branches so I haven't tried cutting their flowers for the house. The thought occurred to me that I could cut them very short and float them in a bowl. Don't know how that would work.

Anyway, I am thinking about planting another antique, but only if the flowers are fragrant, the flowers are good for cutting and last for a couple of days in a vase.

Any suggestions? Thank you!
Marcia
