Newbie to Roses needs help

Hi all! I just bought my first roses (2 climbing varieties, "Scent from Above and Social Climber"). I live in Northeastern Ohio zone 5. I live in a mobile home park with a limited amount of planting space. I bought 3 trellises and 3 clematis plants (all were bought bare root from White Flower Farms in Conn.). My questions are... I dug 6 holes about 2 feet wide by 1 foot deep (one on each side of the trellises)for the plants. Can I plant 2 roses together? Like one of the social climber and one of the scent from above in the same hole? Then I would be able to plant the clematis plant in the other hole. Or do I need to dig another hole for one of the roses?

Also, my last question is, when I dug the holes a foot deep some water pooled on the bottom of the hole. I don't want the clematis and roses to drown. Is there any way to prevent the roots from standing in water? I know we have had a lot of rain lately and maybe it will clear up as the weather warms up.
