Floor used as Thermal Mass in Small GHS

Has anyone tried using a network of air pipes under the ground to blow hot air from the top of the GHS , heating the floor in Winter ? It would also act as a cooling system during the day since the return air is cooler than what went in. I have a small GHS (10 x 8) here in zone 9 and I am tempted to build this since I don't heat the GHS in winter, and have cooling issues in summer.
I think for winter it would be better to have pots touching the floor, than on benches. A thermostat could control the fan so I don't blow air at night - or I could hope there is enough stored heat to heat the air - all night long ? I think heat loss will be much less if I don't, and I think it is more important to have a warm pot/roots than air temp ?
