Pretty! I would definitely do the corian top... Over time even in a lightly used bathroom, there would be water damage in my opinion. What about a vessel sink rather than a drop in? I'm not partial to the round ones, but the rectangular ones remind me of old farmhouse style sinks. Although I like the round ones that have vertical sides... just seem a bit more vintage/modern. As far as the color of your tiles, you can go with bone and pick up the color of the vanity, or keep it more authentic and just do the standard white 3x6 subway tiles and match the white to the porcelain toilet, bathtub, sink etc. I think 3x6 size looks nice in a bathroom (ours is very small and that is what we are doing---IMO it's the safest bet.) But I've seen 2x6 as kitchen backsplashes that look really nice too. I am doing the same thing with you---Tiling the shower, and then the room 1/2 way up as wainscotting. Good luck!

Sorry I guess I didn't explain well enough. In my club, every month someone would bring a pattern and we each were responcible for making the block in our own choice of material, with the purpose of having a finished quilt when we were finished. We can put them together any way that we like. I must confess I am 3 behind as are a couple others, but I've had machine problems plus I was trying to finish a QAG too. I think only one member actually got hers started in a quilt. Everyone has so many projects going. I am anxious to finish this one but I need ideas of how to assemble, meaning layout options. I would like to post the pictures of my blocks, but it will take me a day to figure out how to post pictures again! hee hee

Very nice menu. And totally doable and simple with prepping ahead. I like mixed veggies as it pleases everyone. I usually do a roasted oven tray that has full heads of garlic, sweet and reg potatoes and golden beets and anything that looks good at the market. A small cut up winter squash... As is your menu looks perfect. Burger and dog night and even taco night and gyro night are pretty high end here. Making everything from scratch takes time though i can prep most ahead like grinding the meats for burgers. DH bakes the breads and rolls. I make and the sauces and just made three different mustards...were having DirtyDogs tonight. Burgers tomorrow. With the last of the fresh garden tomatoes. I like my smoky salsa with dogs and burgers. Used fresh tarragon in place of the cilantro. And having a first taste of DH's crock of sauerkraut. -Not so sure about my TomMustard, lol. Used some tomato powder in that one. Fortunately the dogs we like did not go out of business like i thought. I'm guessing my local market may have a sloppy paying schedule that is difficult for such a small company. It is a problem with this market i've heard. Lots of things i want to try making. Hot dogs are not on that list. : )

Yes, you still need baseboards. It visually finishes the wall to floor. You can use a simple, plain wood plank molding. All square edges. It's inexpensive. You can achieve your industrial feel by leaving pipes and heat and air ducts silver, if exposed. You can also add a few industrial accessories for that design wanted. You can use a semi-transparent stain from Home Depot, follow directions, to freshen ordinary cement and to add a touch of color to warm the space. If budget allows. I would choose a light warm color for walls, as basements tend to be darker. Basements already have a gray, colder feeling to them. They can feel dreary with gray walls and natural concrete. I would want a happy space by using a warm color tone paint. A space you will still feel good in, for exercising.
