Spacing Shrubs for Privacy

I'm planning a shrub border to screen our neighbor's backyard and I'm a little confused about the proper spacing of shrubs. The shrubs I'll be using are Burkwood viburnum (1), Onondaga viburnum (3), Diablo Ninebark (1), 'Silver & Gold' Yellow twigged dogwood (2), and Spirea 'Renaissance vanhoutte' (1).

I want to give the shrubs adequate space for growth but also want to obscure the view behind them as much as possible.

For a shrub such as the Onondaga viburnum who mature spread is 6-8', would I space the plants slightly less than 6' apart, 6' apart or 8' apart?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)
