Huge maple like leaves red stem lg cone shp blossums to seed pods

Purchased this plant at a private nursery when it was maybe a foot tall with few very large maple like leaves. It is now taller than the roof line (in just a few months!). Stems are thick and reddish. Producing constantly, about 15 blossums. Each large blossum is cone shaped about 10" tall and has multiple round reddish flowerettes that become dark seed pods. Low maintenance in east facing planter. I'd like to know what it is and how to propagate it. I assume the blossum-pods can be planted in the spring. In which case I will have a forest in my back yard. Happy to pass some along to other interested parties. Thank you
