It's a Rubus (bramble) of some variety. There's many different species, several of which are native to Finland (although generally are smaller, groundcover-like plants). It could also be an introduced species - lots of weedy ones around, like the dreaded but tasty Himalayan blackberry, Rubus armeniacus :-) It typically flowers white, but pink forms occur as well.

It is Rubus odoratus, purple flowering raspberry. It is native to eastern North America, but per the Global Compendium of Weeds, has escaped cultivation in Finland.

This one was definitely placed as a speciment plant growing at about 5 feet tall. Rather interesting flower about 3 - 4 inches across. I was not aware that a raspberry would produce a flower that large. Neat. Do they taste like traditional raspberries?

I love the berries; they have a unique tart/sweet taste with a hint of raspberry to it. Usually, you can only find a few ripe ones at a time, so they are really just a trail-side nibble. When you pick a berry, the aggregate fruit peels off, leaving behind the receptacle. You are left with a hollow berry that looks like a thimble -thus the common name of its western cousin, Rubus parviflorus, thimbleberry.

Do you know if these plants are readily available at nurseries? I don't recall seeing them before.

I doubt standard nurseries carry them, (a case of Europeans appreciating our native plants as garden-worthy specimens more than we sometimes do.) Your best bet would be a native plant nursery.
