kathy, Thanks for the guess- it sort of does look like Camassia, but I think I've figured out (with the help of a fellow GW'er) that it is Phyteuma spicatum. Here is a photo off the web of the Phyteuma And, here is a photo I took of a stand of wild Camassia!

Don't know what part of the country you live, but here in Missouri ,this plant is known as a "pregnant plant". Very aptly named, as each and every tiny serrated leaf "tooth" has the possibility of forming, then dropping new little plantlets. Flowers are tiny yellow and minimal. A vigorous plant that was stripped, ignored, left to dry out and die after a move; only to resurrect and regrow 8 months later, scraggy, yet productive. Succulent yes, but won't survive zone 5 winters outside. How did you acquire this specimen?

I don't see the variegation in the leaves, but the scalloped edges indeed look like Kalanchoe blossfeldiana. It looks nice and healthy!

The plant was a Haworthia. Which type I cannot say. The fact that it was a bit etiolated may make any further ID difficult. Such plants do not desire direct/full sun exposure but they do like bright indirect light during their growing periods (yours could have used more). Most (all?) are typically summer dormant. Depending upon where you live, Haws can often be found at BBSs or sometimes at nurseries. The Q inquiring as to what media yours was planted in will come up, as well as the Q as to whether or not that pot has a drainage hole(s).
