Name That Plant!

Unknown plant I can't ID

I have three photos of a plant I have been unable to ID for two years now. I'm sure it's just some common weed, but I would still like to know what it is.

The plant is rather mature now, and very small. It seems to grow to about a foot in height, though the ones I have are about 6 inches tall due to the small container I have them in.

I am hoping someone can ID it. It gets tiny four-petaled white flowers and the seedpods are red. When dry, the seedpod pops open like those of Jewelweed or Hairy Bittercress do and throw the seed out with some force.

Some of the leaves have red blotches on their centers.

It reminds me of a Euphorbia. Does it have milky sap?

I just checked the plant and it does indeed have a milky white sap.

The leaves do closely match on that one. Not exactly a stunning plant, huh? Doesn't ring any bells for anything we might have planted either. I'll watch it and see how it goes. Thanks.

Thanks ginibee but after looking up borage it doesn't quite fit the bill. It could be a wild origin plant, not a cultivar so perhaps it is in that family. It has come back two years in a row now and the bees and butterflies love it, doesn't last all summer but drops seeds that come back in spring. I will keep trying, perhaps someone will recognize it.
