mini melons or mini squash or what?

This plant growing in our yard on the Texas coast self sowed from one seed and has extended itself across the yard. It is a fast growing vine with oval-like leaves, tendrils, and hairs on the stem. The fruit looks like a tiny striped watermelon and ripens into a solid yellow fruit the size of a small lemon with a rib down the middle and lots of seeds inside. It smells sweet like a small melon or canteloupe. The skin is thin like a honeydew melon, the flesh beneath it is only about 1/4 inch thick, the rest is all tiny seeds.

Please help identify! Thanks!
