I have a few more items worth listing Ipomoea coccinea or scarlet morning glory. A favorite of hummingbirds and listed as a native on the IFAS publication at the link below. Warning is does reseed readily if seeds not removed. Dies back in summer. New plants pop up in Fall. Also I have several white containers some glazed some not. Hi Beverly, To answer your Q?, I did go to Darby Creek Nursery,me and my friends went there after the swap. But they didn't have a good sale like they did last fall.We left there almost empty handed.But we had stopped at Shroders off of 71 on our way to the swap and before we got to the swap. They have some really good sales on their plants.That's where we bought most of our plants that day. On our way home we stopped at Seely's. I ended up buying 4 Hostas and Jacquie and her sister Bobbi bought 4 or 5. And we were loaded for bear.LOL I was in so much pain I couldn't hardly stand it. But It was fun.I couldn't unload my car and lucky for me I have some very able friends who don't mind helping or doing for me.Oh!! If I only Had My Legs Back!!! What's this Beverly about you having a Hosta Sale on the 30th? Did you sell them for a business or are they your own??Diane had emailed me with the info and date, But I didn't get the message till after the day of your sale. Sorry I missed it. Weather.com is now predicting morning clouds/afternoon sun, so I'm hoping we're still on. I have two Barbara Mitchell daylily divisions, and five of the NOID pink daylilies potted up, as well as three Cryptotaenia seedlings. I didn't get to the Autumn Joy sedum, the bees like it too much right now, and I don't like the bees. I'm planning to completely redo the bed it is in next spring, so I might bring it to the spring swap. Here is a picture of what the NOID daylilies will look like when they bloom. They are all small fans, so might need even a couple of more years till they bloom. Looking forward to the swap. Alison

Well, my eyes are doing better today, good enough that I was able to put in a full day at work, which was good! I got really bored yesterday just sitting around, listening to the television. I hope there'll be no more of that! Yesterday did have one bright spot though... I received Vina's box of fire, and boy-howdy, it sure is a hot one! Stella helped me look through it yesterday, telling me what was what when I couldn't make it out. She sure is helpful (nosey!) when she wants to be...lol! Vina made a huge card from construction paper and put in it pictures from her yard, a nice little letter, flames, and some ladybugs! Very nice! She also included a list of what's in the box, and a recipe for hot roasted corn dip, all covered in fake soot. Very clever, and very imaginative! For plants, Vina shared Devil's Riot Iris, Tahiti Daffodils, Fall Fiesta Iris, and Fires of Fuji Daylilies. If you aren't familiar with how any of these look, google them and be prepared to go get some. They're gonna be gorgeous next summer! Vina harvested some seeds from her garden for me too... Fanfare Gaillardia, Indian Summer Rudbeckia, and Cherries Jubilee Yarrow. These will all look great mixed in with the coneflowers on my perennial mound. Also in the box was a solar yard stake (which matches the ones I already have!), and a book on container gardening! I'll be looking through it for ideas for next summer all winter long!
