I have a border bed on the north side of my house but about 6 feet or so away from the house. It gets little sun in the winter (which I guess I not concerned about) but other than early morning, gets sun through to sunset during the growing season. It historically was an iris bed with a Black Lace Elderberry on the end. The iris themselves are now history.
I'm looking at some Mock Orange and it says it needs some part shade to prevent foliage burn.
Anyone have experience with this shrub? Do I need the shade? If so, can you recommend another chartreuse shrub about the size of the mock orange that will take sun and my zone?
Thanks,
Charles
