Well, it's going to be the soup (in small mugs; I don't have any soup mugs). Also hot rolls, the dried apricot/mascarpone/walnut appetizer, and blackberry cobbler from the bakery for dessert. Maybe ice cream with the cobbler, or else just leftover cream from my soup recipe. Makes for an awful lot of cream in this menu, but I guess it will be okay. I'll put out green onion tops to sprinkle on the soup. There is no store even 35 miles away that carries chives. I posted a question about the soup recipe because although I've made it many times it's never seemed to me like the amount of squash called for is right. Thanks so much to all of you for your help.

Not a weasel nor a stoat. It is too big and "shaggy" for that. The only other mustelids in the Netherlands are two species of Marten and it isn't either of those. In the IR light used to film this, you can see that the pelage over most of the body is lighter hairs with dark tips. Furthermore, it is darker towards the posterior part of the body. Those characteristics are a match for Polecat. The only other option I can see is that it is a feral Ferret. I hope not.

Looks like an overgrown yellow straighneck to me, too. I expect that the flesh will be on the order of an overgrown zucchini and probably can be used for the same kind of bread... It is not spagetti squash. They have no bumps. That comes from having grown tons of them at one time. OTOH many squash get stringy as they mature or age after harvest; so who knows, still best bet for use would be like for over grown zucchini like I said above. You can google that and get a ton of hits.

From the desperate folks do desperate deeds department: I wouldn't want to warrant that defeating those fasteners will allow you to lift the cabinet bottom, but if you think it will and want to try it, you might try cutting the panel around them with a slightly larger hole saw. Use a high quality one with a drill bit you can remove from the arbor. With the bit still in, cut a hole in a piece of 1x scrap stock. Fasten the scrap stock to the cabinet bottom over the area to be cut, using drywall screws or something similar (you'll have to patch the holes later). Remove the drill bit from the hole saw and have at it. The scrap will stabilize the hole saw so it won't run amok without its drill bit. How to re-secure the cabinet bottom later will be left as an exercise for the reader. :)
