Is this Poa Trivialis? What is this?

Hi all !

I've been reading this forum for the last month and have learned a lot from the experts here.
Here is my question- I recently layed down scotts turf soil (what a waste) and scotts kbg thermal blue mix (also a waste). 1 day after I spread this stuff over my lawn to overseed this fall, I noticed an approximate 1 foot by 1 foot bright green patch sort of hiding behind the tree. This patch gets the most shade in my yard. It has spread in about 2 weeks to 2 feet by 1.5 feet.
I believe my yard is mostly fescue mixed with kbg. The patch is somewhat hard to make out in the pictures because the shade is making it look darker than it appears. It is much brighter green when that shade effect moves away. This grass grows crazy fast. After I reseed with scotts and put down the scotts turf soil, it exploded to about 4 inches in 2 days. Long bright green while the rest of my grass was about 1.5 inches.
Sorry if the pictures are not the greatest. The shade combined with my crappy camera phone caused them to not come out as precise as I wanted. I can follow up with more pics.
I posted all the pics in 7 follow up posts. Check them down under this post.
Here are the albums if you want to look at closeups.

album 3 : http://imgur.com/a/2f0Rw/all This odd grass is mixed in with the green patch. It actually had a slight onion smell when I ripped it out and was very firm in the ground. I could not pull the root out.

..
Any help would be appreciated. The sooner the better while the nursery is still open. Since putting down scotts, i have mowed again low and reseeded with a more premium sod quality KBG seed mix I found through a local nursery with 0.00% weed-seed. The lawn is already doing much better after 2 weeks and hopefully 2 more weeks of more of that good seed will come up.
