Full StoryThis teapot has taken me six years to get to this point. No wire frame except for one in the handle to assist in getting a nice "hole" thru the handle. It's boxwood and was originally a very small ball shape with a another even smaller ball shape at the end of a vertical branch out of the top. I went looking for just a nice round shrub that I could shape a teapot out of. When I told the nurseryman I was going to take his creation home and cut off the top branch and ball, he was very disappointed as it probably took him awhile to create that! ha.
These photos were taken in early Spring of this year.
