Blackberry Lily?

Trying to help a friend ID these seeds which look like Blackberry Lily seeds to me. The wrench in the spokes of the ID wheel is the location of the shoot: Berg Lake trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia. According to my findings on the web, the plants shouldn't be found growing wild that far north. But, I couldn't find any other plant with those characteristic seeds... So, here I am hoping that someone here can offer a 2nd opinion. Unfortunately he wasn't thinking about ID at the time of the shoot to get shots of any foliage, etc., to help settle the ID issue. He did say that no Iris-like foliage was visible.

Alright, here's the photo:

I know positive ID may not be possible given the lack of foliage or other identifying characteristics.... So, if anyone can point me in a general direction to search, that would be great, too. I just cannot think of (or find info. about) any other plants with those unique seeds clusters.

Thanks in advance!
