No it doesnt look like that at all. There is a male and female plant it seems. i had one plant but it divided into a male and female which i have a few of now growing together. The female gets strange looking seed pods at the tip of the vine holding 4 or 5 flat seeds inside in fall.the male has totally different pollen flowers. Each grouping of leaves sprout from the same point on the stem making a whorl around the stalk. i have had the plant for 15 years but been unsuccessful at getting any seeds to grow

Thanks for your help. I'll be sure to get all the Fatoua villosa out that I can before they go to seed and look forward to seeing the passiflora bloom. I did plant one there but I thought it died too so I planted another vine. I thought it was that one. Ya'll are great!

Lunaria, commonly called Silver Dollar Plant? Never grew it myself, but those seed pods certainly look like it.

LOL!! Didn't even notice that....there is NO zone 10 in NC. Ranges from 6a to 8a.
