Fish towers are FUN!!!
Comments (22)Delaney276... As a friend said "a pint's a pound the whole world 'round". I think if I had known the 10 gallon aquarium would weigh around 80 pounds I probably wouldn't have tried it! As it was... it wasn't too bad. I got in the water (couldn't imagine doing this hanging over the edge) and submerged the tank. It weighs next to nothing under water. I positioned a milk crate just under the surface and as level as I could. Then turned the aquarium over and man-handled it onto the crate. I think it took three or four tries. The good news is even if you "drop" it, it doesn't really "fall" so the chance of breaking is minimal. Still.... acrylic would be easier! Pansypins... I was thinking about a Poland Springs water jug. I think those are really clear (not blueish) though they might have writing on them. Of course, you'd have to make the opening bigger. BasilB...See MoreI got fish egg's !!!!
Comments (3)I've got cory cat eggs like that on the sides of my 30g. But I have 8 cories so I'm not sure exactly which cories are laying as I can't tell the difference between boys and girls.I'm hopeing that maybe a couple will make it to hatching but I know it's very unlikely in a community tank like I've got. Good luck with your eggs. Maybe get your cory a couple of friends to lay eggs with! LOL Manda in Seattle...See MoreGot my tomatoes done today
Comments (1)yummy.... I love garden fresh tomatoes. That's actually what got me started with gardening in the first place. Today, we have mud. All the snow from last week is melting away at an amazing rate. We've got 60s temps today (not normally that high yet). It's too early to start on my garden beds, but I have a dog so I will be cleaning up the yard today. At least it gets me outside. Have fun cleaning your garden beds. I always enjoy it. Everything is so full of promise at the beginning of Spring. I would definitely prefer to clean out the beds than clean up after the dog....See MoreI've got wierd fish!
Comments (1)You may want to set up another tank, a 10 gallon, with shale or clay pots to breed the convicts. They are easy to breed and fun to watch them rear their young....See Moreadriennemb2
