This is a little pink flower in front of a delphinium. The leaves (second photo) remind me of a verbascum. Am I on the right track

Let's tip our horticultural hats to the white-flowered redbud (_Cercis canadensis alba_)--identical to its pink-flowered sister, except in flower color. It shows up well against an evergreen backdrop or in a gray early-spring woodland. And with Easter being right around the corner, we should acknowledge another common name of _Cercis canadensis_--the Judas Tree. According to legend, Judas Iscariot hanged himself on a tree of this species after betraying Jesus Christ for the thirty pieces of silver. The legend goes on to say that the tree was forever cursed to be stunted, bent, and of small stature because of this hanging.

As much as it looks like Silene, I do have soapwort that I regret planting because it shows up everywhere. (Bees love it, so it's not all bad). If this is soapwort, Saponaria officinalis, I'm a bit confused as to why it bloomed early June when elsewhere, the kind I have, blooms in mid to late August.

The flowers may look a little similar, but the foliage is delphinium...I have lots of different verbascums and the foliage is different then the delphinium.

Looks like a lobelia, probably one of the L. cardinalis hybrids, to me.
