Hi Tina: I live in the Houston area too, and last week I was shopping at Star Furniture (the new one on 45 close to 1960). I saw a very similar tray but theirs was in an antique brass finish. It kept catching my eye, as they had it in several diffrent settings..on beds, on sideboards, etc. I loved it, but cant remember the price. If I had to guess, I would say under $200 though because I looked at several of their trays and dont remember seeing one priced higher than that. Hope you see this and have a chance to get out to Star.

It's foliage will get wider over time and it's arial roots are normal and tend to keep them year round A very slow grower now in it's mid winter thew spring & fall season , it can also handle a bit of summer heat during it's rest cycle during June July some of Aug. but in your case wouldn't suggest it be in higher heat high UV for a couple seasons.

Look at 'Miss Kim' to see if that appears the same. Also since lilacs are popular if this kind is blooming now where you are an independent garden center in the area may have the same kind on display at this time. Or another kind you might like as well.
