Ok, so we installed a fish pond ourselves, stocked it with goldfish and koi. It looks great! Well, it LOOKED great. Of course it began becoming cloudy and algae filled even with our biofilter running.

It became so cloudy we couldn't see the fish anymore, they were just orange, white and black blobs moving around the water.

Next step....installing a UV Filter kit. Ordered it, set it up, pond clears up in NO TIME! Now we can see clear to the bottom....BUT now we still can't see any fish because they are all hiding in the plants......

AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!

Anyone with this experience? We have a couple of Papyrus in there, in the corner which is where they seem to congregate the most. They also like to hang out at the bottom right by the filter.

Is there something we can do to coax the fish out and keep them out? Get them to be more active so we can enjoy our KOI pond and not just a hole full of water in the ground? They even hide at feeding time and wait until we're gone to come out to eat.....just like a teenager!
