Mature size in Florida and on Fortuniana

I don't normally grow Hybrid Teas, but since they were a Christmas gift I couldn't refuse. :) And I'm willing to try almost any rose at least once.

The two roses are Mr. Lincoln and Gold Medal. As the subject lines says they are both grafted on Fortuniana and located in Central Florida. I know both of these factors create a larger rose. Before I put them in the ground I'd like to be sure I'm giving them enough room.

Also, are there any special growing considerations for these two roses? For example, should they be pruned severely like most HTs? Are chili thrips a big problem for these two? Anything else I should know? (Besides the fact they probably will need to be sprayed to keep the blackspot at bay. And I know they won't get any spray in my garden.)
