Aydan Renee doesn't really look like that photo on the Two Sisters Roses site, which is reprinted above. Here's my photo of it. It's really more of a picoteed look -- no stripes, and not lavender (although the picotee edge can be lavender sometimes). (Click on the photo if you want to see it bigger.) It is also quite a mildew magnet.

Uh-oh! Now you've done it! You can become addicted to Whit Well's roses very quickly. I have many miniatures and minifloras- and even a hybrid tea and two floribundas. And, they win at the shows! Ayden Renee doesn't look quite like the photo at Two Sisters here either, but it is very nice. Here's some others.

The Whit Wells roses do need spraying, but, at least here, they grow very well. I do hope you enjoy yours, Karl, and maybe get a few more!

I bought a Wells HT a few years back from Two Sisters called Brandon's Dream. Instead of the medium pink rose they had pictured on their web site it turned out to have the coloration (although not the form)of something like Gemini. I never knew whether it was their picture or they had shipped me the wrong rose. At the time I was simply too busy to pursue it...

I ordered three from them last year and thye are the only three roses I have that are not doing well. One showed up broken and one cane, has not done much but they would not replace it because it was still alive. The others have grown some, but not much. ONLY my Abby's Angel has bloomed at all and it still looks puny as all get out....I would love some advice on what to do to make them do as well as my others. They get cared for the same as the others, but they are NOT happy. I think they arrive beginning of September. I twas warm until the end of December and all my other roses, even ones that arrived from Jackson And Perkins the next week have grown like wildfire....
