Question About Tea Roses

I live in east Texas, about 2 hours NE from Houston - we have hot summers and blistering sun. I have quite a few tea roses potted up that I plan to plant this winter and spring. I have lots of room and want to put them in the most favorable spot. In my area, can they be out in full sun or should I place them where they can get afternoon shade? I have put alot of water spigots everywhere, so proper watering wont be a problem. I have some long fencelines in full sun that I had thought of as a place to plant them where they could get as large as they like and sprawl, but this is in full sun all day long. I have nurtured these roses in pots for a year or two and want to place them where they will really thrive. Thanks for any suggestions!
