Winterizing...i know it's early

I know, I know. Summer has barely started, but i want to prepare myself now. I just made a raised-bed pond that's about 110 gallons (give or take a few gallons). I have 3 plants from my small 30 gal. pond last year, but i stored them in a utility shed attached to my house. I want more plants as well as fish. I am thinking of getting a wakin or two (they're very hardy). Will the plants and fish survive the pond over winter? I will most likely need a de-icer, but will that work or would it be useless? And is there anything else I should do?

thanks!
