Name That Plant!

Hi, I've seen this plant much bigger in another garden, but can't remember the name. Right now this one is about 12-16 inches tall and has not flowered this season yet. Would anyone be able to identify it only by the leaves?

How the flowers looked?
Leaves remind Sanguisorba.

Thanks for the reply, I don't know what the flowers look like, it hasn't flowered yet. Also did a search on Sanguisorba and I'm not sure about that because I haven't found a decent photo of just leaves, but it is a possibility.

Sorry about that, pic is added. I should also add that the current height is about 12". I let it grow to get a better view on what it might be. I don't have any other plants similar to this in my yard. Thanks!

It looks like Sanguisorba to me, on of my favorites. Compare with the picture in the link below.

I agree that it is Sanguisorba! Pick a couple leaves and rub them, see if they smell a bit like cucumber. If so, then it is Sanguisorba, aka Burnet. The leaves are edible in salads if it is.
