Anyone know the name of the Gardenweb cookie?

hi all,

I'm trying to figure out what the gardenweb cookie is so I can tell my spysweeper to let it in. Anyone know? Thanks.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Scotchies are the name of the cookies and Mrs. Fields was the sponsor. Don't know if this is what you are talking about. Glenda

Hey Mike, I just got a Logee's catalog..To be honest, I've never heard of Acokanthera. I thought your new plant was Sweet Olive.. Where have I been? Preparing for Christmas. I baked several pounds of cookies and bars for family/friends, 'approximately 200' different types. Decorated, bought and wrapped gifts, cleaned, visited, addresed Christmas cards, blah blah..In the meantime, I've pretty much neglected plants which I explained in another thread. Regretting it now. Lol, on the darts..I feel the same..lol.. Mike, truthfully..I didn't know about the darts..I researched your plant, then came across information about the dart and sap. I have two perrenial bushes in the garden called Winter Sweet and Winter Shrub..at first I wondered if this bush was the same plant as yours, but since Acokanthera is a native of Africa, it'd never surive here, not outdoors, anyways. Did you say the owner gave you his plant??? Did he supply care instructions? For instance, when and what to fertilize, light, soil, watering, etc? It's a very very pretty plant, and fragrant, too!! Wonder why it can't be propagated from cuttings.. I'd try as an experiment..lol..Wonder if it's fast or slow-growing?? Hope it's not too much work keeping it alive, especially in winter. Justgotabeme: Yes, that was me! And, yes, even Tamara thought it was very strange that I could post and be recognized on my laptop, but not on my desktop, smart phone or Ipad. Very small world Marguerite, I remember specifically that you sent a Twisted Sister which you labeled Twist. I still have one that I'm trying to save from rotting, but not sure it's the one you sent. I do still have a few succulents with the name Maggie on labels, I've always assumed that was you. I'm so sorry that you've lost mobility, I think we all face that possibility at some point in our lives. But at least you can continue growing in spaces you have access to, so that's a blessing. What types of plants do you grow now? Have you had to switch to ones that tolerate lower light, such as tropicals? Now I'm wondering which plants I still have from you, I'll look for those few today to satisfy my curiosity. Plants with history connected to people are important to me, I have many that were sent by people who are passed on, such as Alfonso Miro from Gardenweb who sent philodendrons some years ago. Also succulents from Hans in PA from Gardenweb, and a few others. I value old, heirloom plants, those that very few people grow any more, especially aglaonemas which are Chinese Evergreens. I think what happened is that at least for my account, the username is no longer relevant. They are using your account name, instead. I can tell because now all my posts have the caps and spaces that my username does not have. When I looked at a post I started that I was very familiar with, so that I knew whose comments were there, no one else appeared to have a username change like I experienced.

Catherine, I think it's just gardenweb.com. There's also ivillage.com, but I have that cookie blocked with no ill effects.

But Mrs. Fields sounds good, too! :D

LOL Glenda........now I understand why you sent me that recipe! LOLOLOLOL!! Bless your heart!
I meant the kind of "cookies" that are in our computers, that allow certain sites to enter.
Brenda......I'm discovering that no place usually has a cookie with a similar name as the site. That's the problem I'm having. I can get out of everything, and bring up each site I visit, one at a time, and then do a Webroot Spy Sweeper sweep and figure it out slowly that way, but thought I'd ask. Every site seems to have a weird named cookie.

my spyware finds: overture.txt, advertising.txt, and tacoda.txt each time I open Gardenweb (after I have cleaned all out). I checked it three times and the same three come up. I use Yahoo has my home page and questionmark.txt comes up with that.
