Your plants are toast . Get rid of the lawn service . They don't know what they are doing . Live with dollar weeds . If you even have dollarweed right now during a drought ? That means you are watering too much . It is a wet season weed . From UF : During a dry season - " Irrigate to wet the soil deeply (8"-12") and less frequently. Avoid light frequent irrigations. Monitor stress carefully. Wait until 60% of turf shows stress to initiate an irrigation. Irrigate early morning or late at night. Over watering when water use is permitted does not improve the quality of the turf. Watch for dry spots and irrigate them with a hose, if permitted." Take care of the lawn yourself . Become knowledgeable . Know your chemicals and know your people who are the applicators . Make them show you their pesticide applicator's license and proof of insurance . If they kill your plants with over spray - they are liable for the damage . Good luck collecting though ! Treat your garden as you would your body . Know exactly what you are putting on it or in it just as you would want to know about the side effects of pills you put in your mouth . Sorry to come down hard on you . Learn from this and be motivated to know as much as possible about what is being done to your property . It is being done to you too at the expense of your wallet and your health and that of the environment and ultimately - to all of us . .

Jandey, I agree with you on the results of using the egg methods. I've started cuttings with and without eggs and the results are inconclusive. I have cuttings that rooted with or without the eggs. I had one interesting experiment where I started 2 husky 18" cuttings of the same kind, about the same size, 1 with egg, and 1 without. The one with egg had light and egg. The one without egg had light, moisture and warmth (it was put in a moisture chamber with a heat mat under it). Both were placed near a sunny window so got the same amount of light. The one in the moisture chamber has now rooted and grown a few leaves. The one with the egg has not budged, no roots, no leaves. I'm thinking that the egg cant hurt, as it might act the same as fertilizer once the cutting has roots, but I'm not sure that it speeds up the rooting process more than other conditions such as humidity and warmth. My next experiment is to start 2 same kind cuttings with and without egg, BOTH in the moisture chamber.

Thanks squeeze! Luckily my little wigglers came with a bit of the compost they were living in, so I think they'll be ok! And I didn't even think about the "Food Prep" thing until I got them home...duh... I've added some stuff to the container that will hopefully be consumable soon.... But I'll take your advise on the finished hot compost as I have some outside....I just need to get the Fig Beetle Larvae out of it! Blech!

Hot to the touch? Ancient piece of junk SxS? Like maybe from the early 80s or older? Sounds like the electric heater is stuck on. My admittedly vague recollection of SxS fridges from that era is that some of them had a swtich for the auto-defrost cycle and sometimes they had a switch or button for a moisture/condensation control. If you have one of those and can turn of the switch, do so. That may take care of the hot door frames. May take a couple of hours for the fridge to settle back down. If you have a not-quite-so-old fridge, you might want to try to vaccuum the condensor coils and condensor cooling fan (in the rear of the fridge, usually behind a metal or fiberboard panel that is held on with screws.) . Also, check to see if the condensor cooling fan is running. Turning the settings all the way down got it to stop running for 20 minutes? What happens if you turn the dials/sliders up towards off? If you've had it all the way down and move the controls back up, it should stop running several stops before off. None of the above helps? I'm with GreedDesigns, then.
