Oncidioda Chaculatum 'Clock Work'

I purchased a nice healthy, 2 spike Oncidioda Chaculatum "Clock Work" from Trader Joes. It has a nice light fragrance and I can't place the scent. I have searched the net and can't find any information on this plant, does anyone know what the scent is?

I've never run across that particular cross and there are so very many hybrids. But let's look at the parents for ideas. Your plant is a cross between Oncidioda Charlesworthii (itself a cross between Cochlioda noezliana and Oncidium incurvum) and Oncidium maculatum.

So, the fragrances in your cross:
    - mild honey or lilac from the incurvum
    - lily of the valley from noezliana
    - mushrooms from the maculatum

Your plant could be a version of any of the above, a combination of any or a new fragrance, but it's a start.

    Good luck!

Ok, the name of the link above is missing something. If you want to do a parent search, click on the RHS link above and select "Grex name search".
