Someone else had one of these crosses blooming a few weeks ago:

This is the first time that my plant has bloomed and it is quite different - very much less green, more of a frilly edge on the lip.

Morning to mid-afternoon scent is eucalyptus and anise, and then it becomes more pepperminty.

Sadly (or happily) I've never seen any clowesia, catasetum or cycnoches that did not thrill me.

    That is a beauty!! I think Mark might have posted picks of this one. That scent sounds divine! And I agree with how you feel about this genus! I am weak, and can never turn one down!
