Just saw the other post with the 'grown up' plant....definitely not 'dwarf'!

Carol is right, it would be more efficient if you posted a couple pictures per post. On the other hand, it's kind of nice to take a vicarious trip to someplace I'd rather be than where I am right now, which is indoors in the middle of New York City... I agree with Soeur, the one you thought was Beardtongue looks like Monkeyflower, Mimulus spp. And your 'Treasure' is in fact Jack in the Pulpit; it's funny, it's all over the place up here in NJ. #9, the funny winged seeds are probably Wild Yamroot, Dioscorea villosa. Your 'Miniature fern' might be Maidenhair Spleenwort, Asplenium trichomanes. But it might not be; you've undoubtedly got ferns down there that we don't have around here. Your bright orange mushrooms might be some kind of Chanterelle, there are several species that are that color. Mushroom # 7 may be some kind of Amanita; the bulbous base and the 'fringe' hanging down around the edge of the cap (if you could see the stem in your pictures there's probably a ring of tissue around it that tore off when the cap expanded) are typical of Amanitas, and so is the 'patchy' cap. A lot of Amanitas are big, pretty mushrooms (the typical red mushroom with white spots you see in cartoons is the Fly Amanita). Some of them are also deadly poisonous and they're hard to tell apart. What I'm getting at is they're fun to look at and take pictures of but you shouldn't even think of eating anythng you find out there if you've just identified it from a picture. Not that you would... Mushroom #5 might be some kind of Amanita also. Mushroom #6 might be one of the Boletes; if you looked underneath it it would have pores instead of gills. (I got involved in a 'mushroom' survey in a nature center near me; compared to plants, fungi are murder to ID. You need a microscope for a lot of them.) I think your #6, 'Bizarre plant' might be Yellowroot, Xanthorhiza simplicissima Your 'odd', umbrella looking tree might in fact be Umbrella Magnolia, Magnolia tripetala. I think your'forget me not' is actually Euphorbia corollata, Flowering Spurge. One other thing, Heal All is Prunella vulgaris, not vulgarisor. (And you only capitalize the genus name, not the species). But you're absolutely on the right track using the scientific name; anybody who really gets into plants ends up using them; there are just too many variations in common names. Especially now that we're all on the internet and people from all over the world are talking about the same plants. WW
