I did the heat treatment on some last year and 2 plants show damage this year. One August Moon and 1 Gold Edger. About the Gold Edger...they are the ones that I dug up from my camper and put in a black plastic bag to take home and heat treat, but I forgot all about the bag being in my black car for over 2 weeks in the hot August sun. I did not heat treat them, I just planted them as an experiment. Out of those 5 Gold Edgers, 1 leaf shows damage this yr. The August moon that shows 1 leaf affected was treated last year in 130 degrees for longer than the recommended time. All the rest of the plants look good. BTW, Nearly every treated plant survived the heat treatment from last fall.

Amazon, Ebay, and about a billion other places online. Locally pretty much any store that has the word nature, natural, health, healthy in their name. Cheaper to get the same high concentrations in non-food grade. Several products are sold specifically for algae but it's all the same. Food grade just makes sure the product stays pure during manufacture.

I never had that problem. Mold shouldn't grow on planting media and, if it does, it is the manufacturer's fault. What brand/model of planting media are you using? Also, it might be related to organic fertilizer. My advice would be to stop using whatever you are using, start over, and never do business with that manufacturer again. And, if there is a phone number on the bag, I would call and complain. There is a broad spectrum fungicide, Physan 20, that will kill the mold and not hurt the plants much, when used at the correct concentration, but, that is like trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Better to start over and do it right. Incidentally, you should either start your seeds in small cells or final sized pots, one per container, to void subjecting your seedlings to the trauma caused by breaking roots during transplanting. I start my tomato seeds in 4" pots.

Hi everyone thank you so much for your replies, this is truly wonderful to see all this Love! I did so much research yesterday. I am 99% sure these jelly-like balls were eggs, especially when I found what spider mites eggs look like = the exact same thing, perfectly round clear spread apart eggs. This one shows a juvenile mite next to eggs: I tried to take better pictures of my latest findings. It is so tiny it is very hard to capture. Here is an egg: And here is what I think was a juvenile spider mite: I also researched the bug that the grower mentioned but it did not look like what I was finding on my plants. It does look similar to a juvenile spider mite but is more oval shaped rather than perfect round. But at this point I was finding white ones too, so overall very confusing. I also read that this bug the grower mentionned is used for soil fungus and mainly found on the surface of growing medium. ? I kept this last plant secluded and waited to clean it so that I can take pictures and see.. Those white bugs did show up within 1-2hours all over the rosette, the eggs were still there though. Not sure what these were but that was it for me, I reached my limits!! I exactly did the same you did @AS_NJ, I removed a few healthy leaves and got rid of the plant. This was too freaky and got me soooo scared. I put all the removed eggs and infected plant in a doubled up plastic bag, but I didnt want to throw it in my garbage bin outside in case the bug spread near my house and possibly in my garden :/ I put the bag by my car but I have yet thrown it away lol, I don't know where to do so?? Suggestions?? I sent the pictures to the grower and she said I can bring the plant(s) back for refund. I am bringing back ALL the plants I've purchased from her on Saturday just to be 100% careful. This last plant from the latest pictures was one of mine (not from that grower) but I forgot I had placed it with the Saturday new arrivals. It was placed right next to Cali Sunrise which is the one that I had found the most eggs on. I also found more webs on it yesterday after this whole nightmare.
